So it Begins!

As I work towards getting my Bachelors in Nutritional Science, I am also preparing for the arrival of my first baby, a little girl due in December!  In addition to my passion for nutrition I love cooking and baking.  I have so many different recipes I am looking forward to trying and thought what better place to store those recipes and their results than in a blog.  Going back to my nutritional focused background, as I get everything ready for the arrival of my little girl one thing has been on my mind, starting her on solid foods.  With all the recalls you hear on baby foods and all the different ingredients other than food listed under ingredients on the label, I have decided to make my own baby food using the Baby Brezza, which steams, purees and thaws food all in one.  So for those of you who have babies or are expecting a baby I will be posting my review of the Baby Brezza along with  homemade baby food recipes along with pictures.  Of course I will also be posting pictures and recipes of breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes along with desserts I give a whirl as well.  Not only will they be healthy versions of meals but having a sister who is allergic to soy and chocolate (among many other things!) and a mother who has a dairy allergy, I will be sharing such allergy friendly recipes.  Enjoy!!
